BLANCHE O'BREMSKI Our beloved Blanche Marie O'Bremski, 57, passed away Jan. 18, 2014, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Words cannot express how wonderful, loving, and compassionate she was. She graduated from Greater Nanticoke Area High School, class of 1974, and went on to graduate summa cum laude in nursing from Luzerne County College, class of 1997. She resided in Las Vegas, where she began her nursing career as a registered nurse, advancing to director of nursing, then specialized in psychiatric nursing with the Department of Corrections for the State of Nevada, and finalized her career as an assistant administrator at Gaye Haven Intermediate Care Facility. She dedicated her life to caring for others. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Guravich; father-in-law, Theodore O'Bremski; and sister, Daria Yackimowicz. Blanche is survived by her mother, Anna Guravich; husband, Robert O'Bremski; mother-in-law, Helen O'Bremski; daughter, Katherine, son-in-law Kyle, grandchildren, Halle, Hudson and Hana Cossette; sons, James Hischak, Joseph, and daughter-in-law, Tammy, Jeffery, and James O'Bremski; and sisters, Sandra Trzeciak and Nadine Ebert. Blanche was someone special to all of us, but the wife and mother she was is immeasurable. She was the epitome of selfless. The love and joy she gave to others cannot be measured. We will all forever remember the amazing memories she made for all of us. No services are scheduled.
