GEORGE AULT George L. Ault, 85, of Las Vegas, passed away May 23, 2012. He was born Dec. 11, 1926, to his parents, Florence and George Ault, in Two Harbors, Minn., and was a 15-year resident of Nevada. George was a retired executive with AT&T. George moved to Las Vegas in 1996 and in 1998 married his wife, of the past 14 years, Bette. George was a graduate of Drake University in Iowa and earned a master's degree in business at the University of Illinois. He valiantly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and received the prestigious Purple Heart as a result of wounds suffered in the battle of Okinawa. In business, he excelled as a plant manager with AT& Technologies. He was preceded in death by his parents; and former wife, Rita. He is survived by his wife, Bette; stepchildren, David, Doug, and Susan McDonald, Janie Branson, Michelle Morton (Mark) of Las Vegas, and Gary Burkholder of Redwood City, Calif.; as well as five grandchildren, Mary Beth and Amanda Morton, Brandon and Jason Burkholder and Brittany Branson. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 28, at Faith Community Lutheran Church, 2700 S. Town Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
