WILLIAM NEWKIRK William "Bill" Howard Newkirk, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014, peacefully in his sleep. Bill was born Nov. 14, 1937, in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from North High School. In 1960, he earned a bachelor's degree in music from the Ohio State University. After taking advantage of other opportunities that led him to England and Holland, Bill and his family settled in Las Vegas where he was the composer, conductor, and pianist of "The Lido de Paris" show at the Stardust Hotel for nearly 20 years. Bill's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He is survived by his four children, Lindsay Todd and husband, Bruce, Amy Pence and husband, Chris, Katie Kaderbeck and husband, Paul and Josh Newkirk and wife, Jennifer. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Ada, Liam, Spencer, Ella and Jack, who all lovingly called him Pop.
