ANTHONY SCIALABBA Anthony "Bud" Scialabba, of Mesquite, has gone to rest in the arms of The Lord. Bud was born April 9, 1930, to Salvadore and Margaret Scialabba, in San Francisco. He met and fell in love with Italia "Ti" Catello. They married July 8, 1950, in San Jose, Calif. They moved to Las Vegas in 1953 and Bud began his career as a painter and wallpaper-hanger. He became a master craftsman in his field and taught many new apprentices. He was a lifetime member in the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trade. Bud was preceded in death by both of his parents, Sal and Margaret Scailabba; and two of his sisters, Mary Norry and Helene Jarvey. Bud is survived by his wife, of nearly 53 years, Ti Scialabba. Bud leaves behind his three children, Anthony "Tony" Scialabba Jr., Mary (Jim) Page and DaLeen (Dave) Petersen. There are also six grandchildren, Chayne Scialabba, Karey Pascoe, Enjoli Replogle, Anthony C. Scialabba III, Anne Marie and Sarah Page; four great-grandchildren, Damion Petrusak, Kasey and Kristin Pascoe, and Roman Replogle; and siblings, Sal, Frank, Margie, Jackie and Vickie. Bud also leaves behind cousins; nieces; nephews; and many life-long friends. Bud and Ti retired to Preston, Nev., and then to Mesquite. There will be a celebration of life at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at Calvary Chapel, 786 W. Pioneer Blvd. in Mesquite.
