, Retired Charles "Chaz" Dailey, 73, of Las Vegas, passed away May 15, 2014. He was born June 12, 1940, to Charlie and Julia Dailey, in Memphis, Tenn., and was a 38-year resident of Las Vegas. Charles is survived by his beloved wife, of nine years, Brenda Dailey; children, Charles Dailey Jr., Rhonda, Tony, Renee and Terry; and stepchildren, Sheri Holliday, Tami Hathcock and Robert Hathcock Jr. There are 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Charles served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and Thailand, and retired as a chief master sergeant. He belonged to the Masons, and the NCO Retiree Association. He rode with the Chosen Few, the Soul Brothers, and Oakland Invadors motorcycle clubs. Charles was also a member of the Elks local edition. He graduated from Golden Gate University with a masters in business management. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Charles worked for Ford Aerospace, Nevada Test Site, Bechtel, Nevada Power, and Huntleigh Service. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005. Chaz will be surely missed by everyone who knew him.
