COURTENAY LACHENMAIER

COURTENAY LACHENMAIER Courtenay Lachenmaier, a Las Vegas attorney, passed away May 21, 2013, after a long illness. Courtenay practiced law in Las Vegas, since graduating from Drake University School of Law in 1996. She lived between Las Vegas and Cape May Court House, N.J. She worked at several law firms in Las Vegas before establishing her own practice. Courtenay was born April 4, 1966, in Colorado Springs, Colo. She grew up in Bucks County, Pa., graduating from Council Rock High School in 1984 and Penn State University in 1988. Courtenay very much enjoyed music, dancing and sports. She was a member of the Council Rock field hockey, basketball and track teams. She and her husband, Richard, also very much enjoyed the Jersey shore and the Colorado mountains. Courtenay is survived by her husband, Richard Harmon; her parents, Dottie and Ralph Lachenmaier of Ridgecrest, Calif.; her brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Jenn of Orlando, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at the Providence Home Owners Association Clubroom, 7181 Hualapai Way, Las Vegas (corner of Hualapai and Elkhorn). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the ASPCA.
