EVERETT JACOBSON

EVERETT JACOBSON It is with sincere sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Everett "Jake" Gene Jacobson, of Las Vegas. He passed away at Las Ventanas Senior Living Facility, July 30, 2013, at the age of 79, after a long struggle with melanoma lung cancer. Jake was born in Formosa, Kan., June 24, 1934, and was a Las Vegas resident since 1963. Everett served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from National Security Technologies, where he worked many years at the Nevada Test Site. He is survived by his daughters, Jill Jacobson; her husband, Kevin McOsker, and their children, William and Kaitlyn McOsker; and youngest daughter, Julie Jacobson. He is also survived by his siblings, Byron Jacobson of Wamego, Kan., Janice Oplinger of San Marcos, Calif., Wendell Jacobson, of Erie, Colo., and Marvel Korff of Lee Summitt, Mo. Arrangements have been made with the Neptune Society with no funeral services to follow.
