GEOFFREY CLARK Geoffrey Milligan Clark, 64, of Las Vegas, peacefully passed away July 7, 2013. Geoff was born Dec. 25, 1948, in Provo, Utah, the fourth of eight children, to Dr. Stephen Hone and Margaret Ruth Milligan Clark. Geoff met the love of his life, Laurey Tanner, at BYU, and they were married June 2, 1972, in the Mesa, Ariz. LDS Temple. Their marriage of 41 years was blessed with three sons and two daughters. Geoff grew up in La Habra Heights, Calif. He graduated from Lowell High School in East Whittier, Calif. in 1967 and he received a BA in German literature from Brigham Young University in Provo in 1973. Geoff moved his young family to Las Vegas in 1976 to begin a 32-year long career in pharmaceutical sales. Geoff had a great love and appreciation for the arts and sciences. He loved gardening, listening to all types of music and meeting new people. But Geoff's greatest joy was spending time with his family and spoiling his 10 grandchildren. Geoff was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in numerous callings in the church: as a missionary from 1968-70 in Germany, as a bishop in the Las Vegas South Stake, as a high school seminary teacher and as a scoutmaster, to name a few. Geoff was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Ruth. Geoff is survived by his wife, Laurey; his children, Kristin (Jim), Adam (Nicole), Jana (Mark), Ben (Emily) and Scott (Lacie); brothers, Stephen, Michael, David and Paul; sisters, Pamela, Charlotte and Annette; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the LDS Chapel, 9580 Peace Way, Las Vegas, NV 89147. Viewing will be held Saturday, prior to services, at 8:30 a.m., at the LDS Chapel.
