JAMES PAGE James Page was born Dec. 21, 1918, and passed away Jan. 1, 2013. James lived a long and full life. He proudly served as a warrant officer on the troop ships in World War II. He also volunteered to serve on the newly formed U.S. Army Air Corps at the end of the war. James also worked as a civil engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was responsible for the maintenance on all of the harbors on the west coast. He also loved volunteering his time to the disabled children served by the Shriners Hospital, and doing community service with other members of the Free Masons. James loved to garden and especially to fish. In his later years, he and his wife, Dona, spent their time camping in their RV and fishing. James is survived by his wife, Dona Page; two brothers; four children; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Services for friends and family will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, at Bonaventure Place in Boise. Interment will take place at the Oahu Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. "Grandpa Jim," as he was called by his great-grandchildren, was a quiet and sweet man. His gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
