MILDRED MCCULLOUGH Mildred D. "Millie" McCullough, of Las Vegas, passed away September 24, 2017, after a courageous, 18-month battle with cancer. She was born January 19, 1958, in Longview, Washington, and raised in Cathlamet, Washington. Millie was a dedicated and enthusiastic employee of the Clark County School District and seventh-grade History teacher at Molasky Middle School, where she retired in December 2016. Millie was a loving and truly caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She will be sorely missed by her husband, their families, and her "peeps" and kids at Molasky. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Delores Cochran (her best friend); and foster sister, Theresa Guilory. Millie is survived by her husband, Kerry; her daughter, Sarah Parsons (Nathan) of Cathlamet, Washington; son, Robert Pennington (Jenna) of Portland, Oregon; her grandchildren, Quinn Parsons and Gus Pennington; her brothers, Wally Cochran (Cindy) of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, Wayne Cochran (Kay) of Cathlamet, Washington, and Edward Cochran (Terri) of Woodland, Washington; niece, Stephanie Prestegard (Kevin) and grandniece, Kyli Prestegard of Cathlamet, Washington; foster brother, Steve Weston (Deborah) of Moyock, N.C.; and Kerry's sons, Paul (Anne) and Aaron (Agnieszka) McCullough and grandchildren, Alyssa and William McCullough of Las Vegas. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 30, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas. Refreshments following services at the Parsons' residence. There will be a private burial for the family Tuesday, October 3, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
