He is survived by his children, Lynda (Rex) Miller, Brad (Audrey) Christiansen and Ray Christiansen; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Hubert "Buzz" Christiansen; and sister, Betty Peacock. He will be missed by those he leaves behind, but we find solace in knowing he once again is with his beloved wife, of 53 years, Pam, who passed away in 2008. Norm brought his young family to Las Vegas in the mid-1950's to work at the Nevada Test Site before starting his career as a teacher with the Clark County School District in 1958. He retired in 1984 and began travelling with his wife, Pam. Although he suffered health problems, beginning in 1989, he kept a positive attitude toward life and treasured the times he spent with family and friends. Celebration of life will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be at 12:40 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
