, Retired Daniel Christopher Kline, 80, of Las Vegas, passed away in his home, Feb. 15, 2014, with family by his side. He was born May 20, 1933, in Scranton Pa., and moved to Las Vegas in 1970. Daniel was a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. Daniel was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing senior softball. He was a great singer and you could not be around him without hearing a Frank Sinatra song. His greatest joy was being around his family. He was preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Elizabeth; brothers, Oscar and Tony; and sisters, Elizabeth, Bonnie, Regina and Rosemarie; and niece, Lucille. Happily married to his wife, of 57 years, Shirley, he also leaves behind daughters, Kim, Keely and Danita; sons-in-law, Kevin and Tim; grandchildren, Brenden and wife, Jaime, Keaton, Kage and Weston; great-grandchildren, Teegan and Logan; sister-in-law, Merriel; and his nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania and New York. We will miss him so much. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Matre Dei Chapel, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, Las Vegas. Burial will follow at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
