THOMAS LOHEIT Thomas Arthur Loheit, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 27, 2013. He was born Sept. 5, 1945, in Chicago, to Arthur Loheit and Mary Royko. He graduated from St. Rita High School, in Chicago. Tom worked as a project manager for Swenson Technology Inc. in Monee, Ill., and retired in 2005 after 38 years of service. He then worked in the family-owned and operated Sign-A-Rama franchise in southeast Las Vegas for a few years with his wife and daughter. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Loheit; mother, Mary Siorek; and stepfather, Joseph Siorek, Tom is survived by his loving and devoted wife, of 47 years, Christine (Gogola); son, Keith of Englewood, Ohio; daughter, Cheryl of Henderson; sisters, Shirley (Andy) Lekki of Lake in the Hills, Ill., and Linda (Tom) Konczal of Orland Park, Ill.; a nephew; and five nieces. There will be a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 2300 Sunridge Heights Parkway, Henderson. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund are appreciated. Tom was a wonderful husband and father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
