ANN NOCERINO Ann Nocerino (nee Cordello) passed away Jan. 25, 2013 at 97. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Chicago Sun-Times photographer, Larry Nocerino; and her son, Guy Nocerino. Loving mother of Guy Nocerino (deceased), Laurie Ann Childers (Russ) and Patrick Nocerino (Patricia); grandmother to Anthony and Mark Farmakis, Jean Marie Hewitt, Pamela Widmann, Larry Nocerino, Debi Nocerino and Janna Rose Nocerino, Mark, Todd and Eric Nocerino; great-grandmother to 13; and great-great-grandmother to Sawyer Simmons. Ann moved from Chicago to Las Vegas in 1979, during which time she was a "volunteer grandmother" at Foster Grandparent Program of Las Vegas. Viewing will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, with Mass following, both at Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Dr. Las Vegas. Interment will be Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Ill.
