BERT WARD Bert Ward, 88, a general contractor, of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 24, 2010. He was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Watts, Okla., and was a 55-year resident of Nevada. Bert owned Sunrise Construction and was a pioneer in the construction industry of Las Vegas. He was known for his honesty, integrity and excellent work. Bert was preceded in death by his wife, of 60 years, Helen Ward. Bert is survived by his daughters, Jody Ward and Judy Bzoskie; son-in-law, Jeff Bzoskie; and beloved grandchildren, Jillian and Jake Bzoskie. Graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
