 BETTY HENDRICKS Betty Ann Hendricks, 75, of Las Vegas, returned to her Heavenly Father Aug. 20, 2012. She was born May 20, 1937, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was married to Thane J. Hendricks Jan. 14, 1955. They were sealed for time and eternity in the LDS Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple. She graduated from Idaho State College as a cosmetologist and practiced this profession for friends and family up until a few days before her death. She was very active in the LDS church and held many positions. Even though home-bound, she currently held a position in her Church Relief Society. Thane and Betty have eight children. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Elsie Goldman; her sister, Donetta (Jack) Taylor; and her daughter, Andrea Hendricks. She is survived by her sister, Ethel Knight; brother, Gene (Susan) Goldman; children, Brett (Debra) Hendricks, Terri (Peter) Gagliardo, Craig (Jackie) Hendricks, Kevin (Teresa) Hendricks, Karen (David) Squires, Janet (Charles) Lewandowski and Dana (Dan) Layton; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas. Visitation will also be held at 10 a.m., followed by memorial services at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, at the LDS Tule Springs Stake Center, 6051 Dorrell Lane (at N. Jones), Las Vegas, NV 89131. Burial following at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
