 BRUCE ASHWORTH Bruce Ashworth, 62, passed away July 7, 2012, at his home in Frisco, Texas. Born Oct. 1, 1949, in Las Vegas, Bruce was a successful golf professional and successful small business owner, spending the majority of his life in the Las Vegas valley. A 1967 graduate of Las Vegas High School, he played the PGA Tour for two years, was an assistant professional at the Dunes Golf Club from 1975-1980. He also owned and managed Security Archives from 1987-1996. He is survived by his wife, of 37 years, Charlotte; his sons, Alan of Las Vegas, and Derek of Chicago; his brother, Gary of Las Vegas; and his sister, Barbara of Reno. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at Green Valley United Methodist Church, 2200 Robindale Road, Henderson, NV 89074.
