BRYAN STEED Our beloved Jopoppa, Bryan Jerome Steed, age 57, of Cedar City, Utah, passed away in an automobile accident July 10, 2012, near Mesquite. He was born March 5, 1955, in St. George, Utah, to Eugene Cameron and Loa Elna Nelson Steed. He married Joyce Elayne Corbett in Las Vegas, July 24, 1976. Bryan shared his love of laughter with everyone by sharing jokes in every situation. He loved to work hard, read, visit with family, play with his grandkids, be in nature, eat good food and share his love of the gospel. He greeted everyone with a smile and always assumed everyone he met had good character. He had kind eyes and everyone he knew felt his loving arms around them. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in various callings. Bryan is survived by his wife, Joyce; children; Brianna (Joslin) Frehner of Las Vegas, Gregory J. (Debbie) Steed of Layton, Utah, Chandra (Jared) Smith of Springfield, Mo., Tara (Ryan) Beaird of Layton, Beau (Leann) Steed of Waco, Texas, Lisa Jenae Steed of Las Vegas, and A. Michael Steed of Cedar City; parents Eugene Cameron and Loa Elna Steed; brother, Val (Laurie) Steed of Las Vegas; sister, Launa (Tom) Denning of Milliken, Colo.; and 19 wonderful grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joel Steed; and sister, Jleen Makela. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 16, at the Heritage Park Ward, 290 W 1045 North in Cedar City. Viewing will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the services at the Church. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
