CAROLYN PATNODE Carolyn Mae Patnode, 90, a Las Vegas resident since 1956, passed away Dec. 23, 2012. She was born Jan. 30, 1922, in Florence, Colo. Carolyn worked as customer service representative/supervisor at Nevada Power Company for 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Ralph "Jim" Patnode; daughters, Sharry (William) Hickey and Julia Schoemann; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Lola McCoy; one niece; and two nephews. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, with services following, both at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial following at Palm Valley View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Nathan Adelson Hospice or a .
