He was born Nov. 9, 1943, in Sapulpa, Okla., to LaWanda Marie Manning Stanton and Carroll Lane Stanton. Memorial services will be at 11:20 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.
