CHARLES MATHER Sir Charles Ogle Mather passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012. He peacefully passed away at his home with his loving wife, "CJ", also known as Cecilia Mather, by his side. He was born May 10, 1927 in Whitley Bay, England. He lived all around the world in places like New Zealand, Australia, Asia, and South Africa and ultimately settled in Las Vegas 52 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Mather; his oldest son, Stephen; his daughter, Michelle; and youngest son, Charles Jr.; his loving stepchildren, Robert Lozano and Leah May; his grandchildren; his great- grandchildren; and countless friends. April 22, 1988, Prince Penalouge, on behalf of the Knights of Malta, granted "The Grand Sovereign Dynastic Hospitallier of St. John Knights of Malta" to Sir Charles Ogle Mather. His life was lived to the fullest. Serving as a Royal Marine Commando as a physical training instructor teaching hand to hand combat. Training with the Kodokan in Japan to mastering martial arts (8th Dan) after the World War II. Charles loved and lived for rugby, playing for the New Zealand All Blacks Services. He held the oldest licensed theatrical agent and manager (International Artist Management and Agency). His foundation was based on high moral's and outstanding integrity. He believed your word is your worth. Charles was unique and one of a kind! A true honor to know him. The twinkle in his eyes and his great sense of wit and humor will be greatly missed and cherished.
