DAVID SILBERG David Silberg, Jan. 29, 1923 - Feb. 18, 2013. Born in Detroit, David proudly served his country in the U.S. Naval and U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. After marrying his sweetheart, Irma Goldberg, they had two children. His passion for flying led him to open a chain of drug stores in Ft. Wayne, Ind. Upon retiring, Dave and Irma moved to Lake Worth, Fla., where they enjoyed their time playing competitive tennis and traveling. They then decided to move to Las Vegas, where Irma passed away shortly after arriving. Dave met Jean Yellen at a bereavement group and, after a special friendship blossomed into love, they married in 1994. They enjoyed wonderful times on cruises, special family events, including Dave's 90th birthday in January, the Las Vegas life and nearly 20 years of being happily married. Jean's family and friends welcomed and loved Dave as one of their own. Dave is survived by his wife, Jean Yellen; his son, Barrett Silberg of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; his sister, Madelyn Segal of Montrose, Colo.; his many loving relatives; and his beloved dog, Coco #3. Services will be private.
