DAVID WILLIAMS Obituary
DAVID WILLIAMS 1967-2012 A much beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, David Randolph Williams, 45, went home to be with the Lord at 11:30 p.m., Dec. 3, 2012, in Las Vegas. David was born Nov. 14, 1967, to Elizabeth Streeter and Charlie Williams. He worked at Allied Acquisitions as a retail salesman. He attended John Muir High School in Pasadena, Calif., and Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, and earned his GED. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1985-1988 and served on the battleship USS New Jersey. He attended Sacramento City College in 1996. David loved life and he lived it to the fullest. A focused and committed man, his favorite saying was "Keep it straight ahead." David's interests included golf and mentoring. He joined church at an early age and played the drums. He also devoted much of his time and energy to being a committed father, providing encouragement, guidance and wisdom to all his children. He left a rich legacy to all who knew and loved him. David is survived by his parents, Elizabeth Streeter, Charlie and Deborah Williams; his grandmother, Juanita Lawson; his siblings, Mellisa Chatman, Joseph Hill, Dale, Daren and Danielle Williams; his children, Marques, David, Donovan, Marie, Davina and De'jah; and his grandchildren, Aiden and Jordan. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Consolidated Realty Board, 3725 Don Felipe Drive, Los Angeles. Services in Sacramento, Calif. are pending.
