DONALD GROSSI Donald "Donny" Joseph Grossi, 54, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 11, 2012, in Perkasie, Pa., at the home of his girlfriend, Cindy Paul. Donny was born Feb. 1, 1958, in Wiesbaden, Germany. He then spent his childhood years in Washington, D.C. before moving to Las Vegas in 1970. He attended Valley High School. He worked as a dealer, slot technician and welder. Donny also served in the U.S. Navy from 1981 to 1989. He had been working security for Harrah's since 2003 in both Nevada and Pennsylvania. Donny enjoyed music, photography and dancing, along with fishing, camping, snow-skiing, kayaking and travel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loretta and Donald E. Grossi; and his niece, Kristina Fannin. Donny is survived by his sister, Toni Harako; brothers, Ed Fannin, Rudy and Joe Grossi, their wives and children; his son, Andrew Grossi; and grandson, Trevor Grossi. Services will be at noon, Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City. Sign the guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
