WO2 EDWARD STRESS U.S. Army, Retired Edward J. Stress, 76, passed away Nov. 25, 2012. He was born Sept. 4, 1936 in the Bronx, N.Y., to Jack and Mary Stress. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army, serving in Germany, Vietnam, and Korea. After retiring, he worked 20 years for Purolator Armored in Dallas. He was a resident of Las Vegas for the past 15 years and had worked at New York, New York Hotel. He is survived by his wife, Irmgard; brother, John; children, Edward and Conny; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas. Funeral services will be at 8 a.m., Monday, Dec. 3, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
