 ELLEN LOZADA Ellen T. Lozada, 63, of North Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 25, 2013. Born April 12, 1950, in Iloilo City, Philippines, she was a registered nurse for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Vicente of Iloilo City; and sister, Shirley of Chicago. Ellen, a devoted and loving wife of 26 years, is survived by her husband, Noel; by her mother, Emma; her brothers, Vincent and Butch, both of Las Vegas, and Jessie of San Francisco; and sisters, Emie of Iloilo City, Philippines and Lina of Long Beach, Calif. Ellen was a wonderful friend and no matter what was needed, she was always there for everyone. A celebration and memorial service of her inspiring life will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. The family asks that no flowers be sent. Ellen's remains will be brought home to Iloilo City in the Philippines where she will be laid to rest with her family.
