ELLEN TAYLOR Ellen J. Taylor passed away July 16, 2012 in California, where she had a 16-month battle with Hep C. She was born Oct. 21, 1953, in Milwaukee, and was a 20-year resident of Henderson. Her 15-year career in hotel sales ended as director of sales for The Plaza. Other hotels she worked for were the Hacienda, Four Queens, Frontier, Lady Luck and Avi in Laughlin. Ellen graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where she lived for 35 years before moving to Las Vegas. In Milwaukee, she married Tom and started a family, son, Tommy and daughter, Jamie, who live in Henderson. Other family members include father, Ed; brother, Mike; brother-in-law, Bobby; sisters-in-law, Lori and Becky; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial gathering 1-5 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at the Henderson home. RSVP Tom at (702) 300-1619. Church services will be in Milwaukee.
