 FRED SANCHEZ Fred M. Sanchez, 63, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012. He was born Feb. 23, 1949, in Arizona. Fred served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a retired hotel assistant food and beverage director. Fred is survived by his wife, Debbie Sanchez; daughters, Jackie Sanchez and Jenny Sanchez, both of Phoenix; six grandchildren; sister, Stella Maldonado of Arizona; sister-in-law, Giana Golub of Mansfield, Mass.; brothers-in-law, Josh Golub of Mansfield, and Doug Darienzo of Las Vegas. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. Visitation again from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, with services following, all at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
