His parents were Ira and Erma Selph. Gary was retired from the casino industry. His little dog, Lilly, loved him so much that she would follow him wherever he went in the house. He enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. He often had trouble sleeping, so he would spend time reading the Bible and praying on his back porch in the middle of the night. He wrote a neat story about his life as a child called "Our First House." He was very creative and gifted in so many ways. This world has lost a sweet man with a huge heart, but we look forward to the day when we will see him again and spend forever with him and Jesus in Heaven. A life celebration was previously held Monday, Oct. 29, at his daughter's home. He desired his ashes to be spread in Red Rock Canyon.
