 GERALD CHAMBERS Gerald Harold Chambers, 83, a resident of Las Vegas for over 40 years, passed away Nov. 25, 2012. He was born in Miami, Okla., April 22, 1929, to William and Lillian Lannett Chambers. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married Lorraine Margolis July 26, 1957 in Chicago. Gerald was an artist in his profession as a painter and wallpaper installer. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Winter Wood Golf Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Marbella Pink. Gerald is survived by his wife, Lorraine Chambers; two children, Laura (Tim) McCubbin of Henderson, and Gregg (Susan) Chambers of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, TJ McCubbin, Conner McCubbin, Sarah Chambers and Samantha Chambers; and three sisters, Ramona Welker, Clara Kwasniewski and Judy Schroeder. Funeral services will be at 8 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
