GLADE SMITH Beloved husband, adoring father, cherished grandfather and wonderful friend, Glade L. Smith, age 87, was delivered into the hands of God while surrounded by his family at his home Nov. 29, 2012. He was born March 3, 1925, in Canton, Ill. He served as a second lieutenant bombardier in the U.S. Army during World War II. Glade was a 64-year resident of Las Vegas, and worked as a master watchmaker. He served as a Christian pastor of the 9th St. Church, was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved baseball. He will be missed by his wife, of 68 years, Helen Smith; daughter, Tona; son, Gary; and grandsons, Ryan, Justin and Josh. Glade was the greatest man his family has ever known. Forever loving, kind and patient, while always putting his family first. His funeral will offer a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Bunkers Memory Gardens, 7251 W.
