HELEN FRANKOT Helen Frankot, age 91, a 13-year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. Helen was born June 2, 1921, in Fowler, Calif., to the late Mardiros and the late Agnes (Paul) Halagan. Helen worked as an executive secretary at the Rockwell International B1 Bomber Plant in California. Helen loved life. She had a wonderful sense of humor, as well as a kind and tender heart. She is survived by three sons, John Gerard Frankot Jr. of Folsom, Calif., Robert (Melinda) Frankot of Tucson, Ariz., and Thomas (Yukiyo) Frankot of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Kevin and Michelle Frankot of Tucson, Tracy Navarette of Los Angeles, Christopher and Matthew Frankot of Las Vegas, and Amber Smith of Longview, Texas; and daughter-of-the-heart, Carla Breth-Kupec of Las Vegas and Colorado. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, of 47 years, John Gerard Frankot. Funeral service will be at 9:20 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive in Boulder City.
