HENRY SHEAD Henry W. Shead "Shed," 71, passed away Oct. 5, 2012. A Las Vegas pianist, singer and entertainer, he was born March 31, 1941, in Arkansas. He performed at many Las Vegas hotels, including the Hacienda, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand and AJ's Steakhouse in the Hard Rock Hotel. He was voted the best lounge act of the year in 1977 while performing at the Stardust. He will be missed and loved by his wife, Jeanette; his sons, Henry Jr., Todd (Cassondra) and Rohn; his daughter, Lori (Christopher); and four grandchildren, Sydney, Simmone, Juliet and Michael. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Peters. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Weardale, Caiaphais and Thomas. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon Monday, Oct. 15, with services following, both at Zion Methodist Church, 2108 Revere St., where family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hills, Calif.
