Obituary Condolences

HOWARD TUFT Howard Lloyd Tuft, born Oct. 2, 1922, in Camden, N.J., passed peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at age 90. He spent his early years in Camden and Philadelphia with his parents, Anita and Walter Tuft. Howard served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, stationed in the Pacific. After the war, he moved to Denver, where he was sales manager for Fuller Brush Co. He retired to Las Vegas in 1979 and, for several years, owned the Drawbridge Bridge Club. He was a member and a Silver Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League. Howard was an entertaining storyteller and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Cris (Sally) Tuft and Troy (Kathy) Tuft; daughters, Pam (Steve) Bass and Holly Pietz; three stepdaughters, Debra (David) Haecker, Danni (Doug) Nielsen and Donya (Dan) O'Donnell; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Spring Valley Baptist Church, 3135 S. Rainbow Blvd. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to MSA Hospice, 2520 St. Rose Parkway, Suite 219, Henderson, NV 89074.
