 HUGH COLLINS Hugh Darrell Collins, "Smokey," a long-time resident of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at his home at age 78. He retired as a teamster with Local 631. He worked at Genstar Gypson in Blue Diamond for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Brooke. He is survived by two sisters, Helen and Dixie; seven children, Susie, Jimmy, Gene, Mary, Jerry, Vickie and Gary; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. He loved to hunt, fish and watch football. He loved his family and friends. He will be sorely missed, but we will see him again in Heaven. Visitation will be at 8:30-9:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 23, with funeral services following, both at Davis Funeral, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial to follow.
