 JADE MORRIS Jade Brenda Elizabeth Morris, age 10, a fifth grade honor student at Wasden Elementary School, passed away Dec. 27, 2012. She was born March 23, 2002, in Las Vegas, to Philip Morris and Tejuana Reeves. She was the youngest of three children. Jade was an avid reader who shared facts and excelled in math. A lively entertainer, Jade enjoyed singing, dancing, and swimming. A true animal lover, Jade was an advocate against their abuse. She is survived by her parents, Tejuana Reeves and Philip Morris; her siblings, Jordan and Jazmine Meyers; grandparents, Claudette Flanagan-Jones and Herbert "Bob" Jones, Anthony "Andre" Mack, Philip Tucker and Brenda Morris; niece, Olivia Marley Woods; Godmother, Ni'cola Mitchell; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jade was loved by everyone and she will truly be missed. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 4, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Bread of Life, 2721 Coran Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89106.
