   JAMES KOCH James George Koch, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012. He was born April 19, 1941, in Port Huron, Mich. He was preceded to eternal life by his sister, Margaret; his niece, Linda; and his loving parents, Jacob and Freda Koch. He was a great dancer and loved to spend time with family, friends and neighbors. He is survived by his son, James Jr.; his daughters and sons-in-law: Kris (Henry) Tecza and Shelley (Marv) Eschker; his granddaughters, Rachel and Paige Tecza; his brother, Norman Koch; his sister, Marilyn Cossette; his nephews, Mitch, Mark, David and John; his nieces, Susie and Laurie; and countless friends. He will be remembered by his friends and family as thoughtful, compassionate and fun-loving, with a twinkle in his eye and a sweet smile. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the local Toys for Tots. A private family memorial will be held in Las Vegas.
