 JAMES LORD SR. U.S. Air Force, Retired James C. Lord Sr., 78, a 48-year resident of Las Vegas, was born July 4, 1934, in Camden, N.J. He passed away Feb. 14, 2013, at home. He is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Barbara; three sons, James II (Dori), John (Annette) and Joseph (Tammy); eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was one of five children born to John A. Lord and Doris F. Rice Lord. He is survived his sister, Mary F. Kuzniar; and brother, Franklyn Lord. James served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, retired, and then worked for the Clark County Road Department for 27 years as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, and he and his wife took many trips on their motorcycle. Celebration of James' life will be at 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
