 JAMES TIPTON James Richard Tipton, 63, a gaming vice president, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012. He was born July 15, 1949, in Steubenville, Ohio, and was a resident of Nevada since 1973. James is survived by his mother, Eleanor Leish; daughter, Sheli Crabtree; brother, Bill Tipton; sisters, Marsha Ceriotti, all of Las Vegas, and Denise Varay of Silver Springs, Nev.; granddaughter, Hollie Stephenson of Sweet Home, Ore.; and grandsons, Michael Crabtree and Ryan Crabtree, both of Las Vegas. Visitation was 2-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26. Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services following, at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
