JAMIE FAULK Jamie Ann Sahualla Faulk was born Oct. 27, 1951 and passed away July 28, 2012. Jamie went home to be with Lord late Saturday evening, July 28, after a long brave battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, William Sahualla. She is survived by her two adult children, Kimberly Sonerholm and Paul Faulk, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Hayden and a new granddaughter on the way; three siblings, John Sahualla, Craig (Tony) Sahualla, and Pamela Powell; many nieces and nephews; and her mother, Barbara Sahualla. She was blessed with an extended family who thought of her as "Grandma Jamie." She loved watching her grandkids participate in activities and would change her plans if it meant she could spend more time with them. Jamie's life will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, at Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive. Services will be in the Worship Center and attendees should park in the West or East lots. The entrance to the building faces the center of the property (south, facing away from Vegas Drive). There will be no graveside or visitation preceding or following the services. Jamie loved going to the beach with her family. Her ashes will be scattered in a private ceremony by her children at a later date. If you would like to make a donation, she had many favorite charities so picking one was not possible. However, she loved working at and attending Shadow Hills Baptist Church which supports many worthy local charities. Therefore, any donations can be made to Shadow Hills in her memory. Her infectious laugh and smile will be forever missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.
