 JERRY SHERMAN Jerry Sherman, 81, passed away in Las Vegas, Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, with his beloved daughter and grandchildren by his side. He was born in Newark, N.J., Nov. 16, 1931. He then moved to Miami just after his 13th birthday. Just after college, he moved to California, where he lived until two years ago when he moved to Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his father, Zindel Sherman; and his mother, Sarah Sherman; along with his brother-in-law, Harry Erlichstein. He is survived by his sister; and his daughter; along with his grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, in the chapel at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131. Donations may be made to Cleveland Clinic's Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas.
