JERRY STIBOR Jerry Carl Stibor, 65, lost his battle with lymphoma, Dec. 30, 2012, surrounded by family and friends. Born Oct. 17, 1947, in Cleveland, to Jerry and Lillian Stibor, Jerry moved with his family to Utah, Idaho, and then Las Vegas, where he resided since 1963. Jerry was an avid sportsman who loved tennis, golf, bowling, fishing and football. He managed the credit department at the Sands Hotel until it closed. He met the love of his life, Joanne at the Sands Hotel 26 years ago, and they were inseparable through his final days. Jerry loved to share a laugh with his family and friends and was always quick with a joke or contagious witty phrase. His enjoyable presence, entertaining conversation, beautiful smile and infectious laughter will be greatly missed. Jerry is survived by his soulmate, Joanne Colon; his brother, David (Lonnie) Stibor; his nephew, Ryan (Desiree) Stibor; niece, Angela (Jimmy) Porrello; and his great-nephews, Alexander and Jonathan Porrello and Adriano Stibor. There will be a private family memorial.
