JOE PARKER Joe N. Parker, 87, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 13, 2012. He was born Aug. 5, 1925, in Laurel, Miss., and was an 18-year resident of Nevada. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked with the U.S. Postal Service for 39 years before retiring. Joe was a member of Second Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Camille Williams-Parker; two sons, Joe D. and Charles Parker; two stepchildren, Linda and Shelvia Williams; several grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Viewing will be at 12:30 p.m., Monday Aug. 20, with funeral services following at 1 p.m., both at Gatling's Funeral Home in Chicago.
