JOHN BENNETT John Ashton Bennett, 49, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 26, 2012. He was born Aug. 3, 1963, in Williamsport, Pa., and resided in Las Vegas for 42 years. He was in the auto parts industry and construction. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Bennett-Fenner. He is survived by his parents, Bonnie and Clyde Martin of Mesquite; brother, Wendell "Jay" Bennett of Bakersfield, Calif.; sisters, Stacey A. Bennett of Las Vegas and Samantha L. Martin; and nephew, Ashton Joel "A.J." Martin of Mesquite. Services will be at 9 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at Affordable Cremation, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89108. John was a great son, brother, and friend. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
