JOHN MCELFRESH John Darren McElfresh, 51, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012. Born in West Virginia Sept. 16, 1960, he was the loving son of Dora Mae McElfresh. John worked at CMC Economy Steel for several years, as what he would say was, "a poor dumb bender." He was well-liked by his co-workers, and a host of friends. He was an extremely smart and humble man. John had a strong interest in mechanics and music. He loved to build computers and ride motorcycles. He will be sorely missed. John is survived by his mother, Dora Mae McElfresh and her partner, Beverly Ruth Gault, of Las Vegas; his fiancee, Catherine M. Fogarty of Las Vegas; and his two children, Justine T. McElfresh of California and Hazel E. McElfresh of Las Vegas. Services are private.
