 JOHN PINKNEY SR. Our beloved father, brother, and uncle, John W. Pinkney Sr., passed away peacefully the afternoon of July 24, 2012 at 68. In his final hours, he was surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Beaumont, Texas, Aug. 30, 1943, to Joseph and Ruth Pinkney. John worked in construction and for the Clark County School District before retiring. John is survived by his son, John W. Pinkney Jr.; daughter-in-law, Linda M. Pinkney; brothers, Martin C. Pinkney (Veronica) of Texas and David Pinkney of Colorado; uncle, Arthur Davis of Louisiana; special niece, Yvonne Logan (Claude) of Las Vegas; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, at Thomas and Jones, 310 Foremaster. Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at True Love M.B. Church, 1941 H. St.
