JOHN POWER Obituary
JOHN POWER John Max Power, 47, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully Jan. 28, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He graduated from Bonanza High School before he joined the U.S. Army in 1988. He deployed to Desert Storm and was honorably discharged in 1996 as an operating room specialist. John was employed as a senior account services representative with Johnson and Johnson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Alice Ozuna Moreno; maternal grandfather, Maximo Ildefonso; paternal grandfather, Henry Gifford; and the love of his life, Tina Marie Power. John is survived by his parents, Rex and Maxine; sister, Jennifer Luevano (Nacho;) nieces Mia and Moni; aunt, Ruth Partlow; and many cousins. He brought joy to all who knew him. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. Services will be at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, in Boulder City. Celebration of John's life following at Faith Christian Fellowship, 421 Pacific Ave., Henderson, NV 89015.
