JUDY OSTROFF Judy Ostroff, 79, passed away July 23, 2012, at Creekside Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Germany Aug. 6, 1932, and was a resident of Las Vegas for over 40 years. She and her late husband, Harry, were married for 39 years before his death in 2009. She is survived by her loving son, Ronald Beam and his wife, Haidee; two granddaughters, Rhonda Lamarca and Kimberly Rose; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Paige and Jessica. Judy was a long-time dedicated bowler. She was the sergeant-at-arms for the Las Vegas Women's Bowling Association, a director for the Nevada State Bowling Association and served as the sergeant-at-arms for the annual meetings of the Women's International Bowling Congress. She was elected member emeritus for the LVWBA and later elected to the LVWBA Hall of Fame. She was also an avid, long-time Chicago White Sox fan who never missed a game. Judy had many friends and will be greatly missed. We will all remember her hard work, great sense of humor and no-nonsense manner in getting every job done promptly and well. Services will be at 11:20 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd.
