 KARA BARNETT Kara B. Barnett, 43, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012. She was born May 22, 1969 in Las Vegas, and was a lifetime resident. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Barnett; and companion, Pablo Montero. She is survived by her mother, Janine K. Gullo-True of Las Vegas; father, James E. (Lisa) Barnett of Las Vegas; daughter, Amanda Rose (Shaun) Barnett-Tarr of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Levi Jarrett Tarr of McKinney; sister, Priscilla (Kevin) Mills of Las Vegas; brothers, Brandon Barnett and Cody Barnett, both of Las Vegas; nieces, Arianna Mills and Devynn Mills, both of Las Vegas; grandfather, Bill (Dolly) Barnett of Las Vegas; grandmother, Joanne Young of Las Vegas; stepfather, Nick Gullo of New Orleans; and numerous aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 7, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Opportunity Village, Las Vegas or MS Society in loving memory of Kara Barnett.
