KAREN CORDNER Karen Belliston Cordner returned to her Heavenly Father Nov. 29, 2012. She was born Nov. 10, 1939, in Nephi, Utah, to Gerald and Faye Belliston, and raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Karen married Robert Cordner in the Manti, Utah temple Dec. 6, 1962, just prior to graduating from BYU with a BS in education. She later taught school and sold educational materials. Her most cherished roles were wife, mother, grandmother and missionary. She loved traveling the world with her husband of 50 years, a former USAF chaplain. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved sister, Kathryn. She is survived by her brothers, "Jerry" and Mark Belliston; her husband, Robert; and their children, Corinne (Kurt) Schulzke, Mark (Naomi) Cordner, Clark (Lisa) Cordner, Laura (Chris) Turek, and ReNae (Mitch) Dosch; also 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at the LDS stake center, 6051 Dorrell Lane (N. Jones Blvd, just north of Highway 215). Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. and are open to all.
